Immigrant families bring with them rich traditions, values, and perspectives that strengthen our communities. Yet, they also face unique challenges in adapting to new cultural, educational, and social systems. This workshop is designed to equip professionals, educators, support workers, and community members with the tools to meet these challenges with respect, empathy, and collaboration. By combining cultural humility practices, reality therapy, and game theory strategies, participants will learn to reflect on their own assumptions, address systemic barriers, and create spaces where immigrant families feel welcomed, understood, and supported.
